Happy Birthday Sanika

Here is a Jewellery Box that I recently made for a very dear friend.
I am obsessed with shabby chic these days. But I promise I will post something different very soon :)

Happy Birthday Aarti :)

My new creation is dedicated to a very dear friend.
She has always been a great support. She kept pushing me to pursue my dreams and now here I am taking the first step towards it.

I am not posting the complete thing ( ie with pictures) as I want that bit to remain as a surprise for her.

Thank you Aarti :)

For this I used Cherry Lynn wedding vows die. I spray painted the background with pink poster colour.

Happy Birthday Prabhat!!! well ya Belated :P

This post is dedicated to a very dear friend of mine, Prabhat. His Birthday was in December and I had promised him a gift. I kept procrastinating because I was not satisfied with the ideas I had for his gift. But then I finally came across a perfect gift for him and finally in June (shameful, I know!) I was able to give him his Birthday Gift. This card was a part of the gift that I gave him (I do not have a picture the other stuff therefore, I am unable to post it here.)

Happy Anniversary

Wedding Anniversaries are occasions to celebrate the journey of two people who come together and create a beautiful family...

I made this photo frame for one such beautiful couple who have completed thirty two years of life holding each other's hands.

Resurrection!!!

“A bridge of silver wings stretches from the dead ashes of an unforgiving nightmare

to the jeweled vision of a life started anew.”

My life had been a little dull for a while. The memory of paper cuts scars and paints stains on my fingers was fading. But my heart still bled fevicol (as my friends used to joke two years ago) and it was only a matter of time that the madness would knock on my door again!

And so, here I am again taking a dive into the 'River of Winged Dreams'.

I made this project for a friend in January, and what better thing to gift in January than a calendar. So I decide to make a calendar themed around his interests.

This was the first time I worked with chipboard and dies. I bought most of the supplies from itsybitsy.com . I still do not know which companies each of them belong to, so please leave a comment down if you are curious about any specific one and I shall look it up for you. Also the sentiments I have used here are printout of quotes and not stamps.

Hope you like what seems  like my entry back into the world of Crafting! Enjoy :)

January was themed around family.

February, yes you guessed it - James Bond!

March had the poetic presence of Shakespeare

April danced around the scintillating Katy Perry

May pondered over the past

The crimes of June featured in Pulp fiction

July was painted around his favourite ones

August was all about stamps on his 'fake' passport

Wordsmith's words echoed throughout September

October raced on the tracks

November never yielded

December always stays motivated and driven...
