Ceramic Art

Hey today m gonna be adding my ceramic work. It is very special to me cuz this was the first thing that i had learnt in the art class i attend...The first one is a name plate, which i had made on Diwali when we shifted to our new home...

Second one is a Vaastu Mural...It is considered very auspicious in India...

It was mostly my mum's effort, I just lent her a hand ;)

Hey Shweta,

Thank you for the compliment.

For the vastu mural I used a wooden base and different wooden cutouts for the sun, the temple, base for the kalash and Om. I stuck all these cutouts on the wooden base and then used paste on it.

For the paste i used two parts of plaster of paris, one part paper pulp one part fevicol and water as required.

After the whole thing dried I used ceramic paints on top.

For the details like leaves, feet, swastik, Om and Shri Ganeshaya Namah I used half white and half black M seal and quickly made them into the respective shapes as it dries quickly.

I stuck them on the Mural with fevicol.

Then I added beads and crystals to make the whole thing look prettier.

Lastly, I varnished the whole thing and let it dry for two odd days.

Vola!!! My vastu mural was ready.

If you need any more details let me know I will try and make a tutorial video if possible.
